I do want to add…everyone keeps saying that the Cavs are willing to take on money - financially they’re great while most of the other teams in the league are collapsing - I mean, that’s what everyone writes, but what evidence have we seen since September 08, when it was clear the economy was fucked, that this is true? In fact, we really only have one piece of circumstantial evidence - the non-trade of Wally Z. - and that evidence points to the contrary.
I believe in Dan Gilbert, but I also think there’s reason to wonder if the Cavs really can take on money. Will be interesting to see how things play out - if anything plays out this week.
