The Memphis Edge is reporting that the Cavs offered Boobie Gibson and J.J. Hickson to Memphis for the second pick in the draft.
This somewhat coincides with a tweet from Mo Williams that refers to the Cavs trying to trade up to get Steph Curry (“there were rumors that the cavs was gonna trade up for a high pick to get steph. i hope lol” via @realmowilliams2).
Interesting. I think I would’ve preferred Rubio, but this is exactly the kind of move I’ve been referring to - one that would attempt to build a promising young core of players around LeBron that he might like to play alongside for the foreseeable future.
