Andy opts out

Since I haven’t seen it reported on ESPN or the Plain Dealer’s website, Brian Windhorst reported via Twitter about two hours ago that Andy had informed the Cavs he is not exercising his player option for 2009-10. In other words, Fegan-palooza begins again at midnight. Expect it to get interesting, especially with names like Gortat, Charlie V, Birdman, and others out there as replacements. -T
