I anticipated this happening about the second the “I’ll be there” Ariza story leaked - if it doesn’t then more than a little bit of Bron’s negotiating power disappears.
On another note, I’m always interested to see how the two guys from NE Ohio - Windhorst and Broussard - go back and forth on stories like this. I’d be fascinated to know just how much their personal relationships with the players affect their stories and how often they’re utilized by the people involved to control and balance the flow of information.
