OK, all you C-Town fans, I’ve been hearing that some in the national media are complaining the Lebron is spoiled, gets his own way too much, whines, oh yeah — he didn’t shake hands after we lost to the Magic.
Wow — that is some serious stuff.
Last night’s local Fox news channel poll — Do you think LBJ whines too much?
47% said yes, 42% said no, 11% said they weren’t sure
Unbelievable — in our own town the people who watch Fox think he’s a whiner.
Well, I’ll admit, he should have shaken hands after the Orlando loss - and I’ll bet the next time it comes up - he does shake hands.
However, to pick at the guy — both nationally and locally - cause he “whines”? He’s 24 years old, probably the best basketball player in the world right now, got more money than most athletes in the world — and the worst thing they can complain about is he whines too much.
They need to get a life and find something important to talk about. He doesn’t get into any trouble, by all indications he’s a good dad to his kids, does tons of charitable work — and some people want to complain cause they think he whines?????
Well, Kobe whines — and messes with some maid or hostess or whatever she was. Now, Mr. Rothliesberger is up for sexual assault - but I bet he always shakes hands after games. Yet, Ben is looked upon as a pillar in the community - probably because he doesn’t whine.
My point is - this whole thing is ridiculous. They talk about the double standard of fouls in the NBA. Well, people who spend so much time attacking LBJ better have some scathing stories out tomorrow about Mr. Pittsburg. Fox News better have a poll tonight - Do you think Ben attacks young women?
We should consider ourselves lucky that we have such a mega-star here and the worst thing he has done is refuse to shake hands.
LeBron whines too much?? In the scheme of athletes antics out there, that is nothing. I’d say there’s a double standard - right now it’s against LBJ.
