Despite the fact that he said earlier that whoever didn’t start the first pre-season game would start the second game (in other words, since Quinn started the first game, DA would start the second), Alpha Dog has refused to utter those words this week, even after today’s practice.
He has yet to say “DA will start the game on Saturday”.
You have to figure that’s what he’s going to do. If there truly is an open competition for the QB position. DA has to start.
So, I’ll make the announcement for AD, “DA will be the starting QB on Saturday night at home against the Lions. Not only is it his turn, but I really want to see how he reacts to all the boos he’s going to get when he enters the game. I want a real man to lead this team. If he can’t handle the pressure, then, I’ll boo him too. Afterall, Ratliff will be the second team QB by the time the season starts anyway. The loser of the QB derby will be out of here. I’m personally betting on Quinn.”
Alpha Dog has spoken — and laid his scent around the podium as he left the press conference.
Holla — or is it Woof Woof
