Static

This won’t be long. I came in to write a very similar post to the one that Dad.com wrote. The Browns are becoming difficult to watch. I know, I know. “Becoming, you’re thinking? They’ve been unwatchable.”

But I think that Week 6 may be the final nail…I’m now positive that this is entirely a re-building a year.

I didn’t think that the Browns would make the playoffs when the season started. I wasn’t sure how good they’d be. Obviously, they haven’t been great, good, or even mediocre. But by trading Braylon Edwards two weeks ago, signaled the beginning of the end. This season is not at all about functionality and competition - it’s about laying a foundation and cleaning out the roster.

The offense has no flow whatsoever. No playmakers. It’s most defining characteristic appears to be the ability to drop passes: 16 now over the past two weeks.

Still, Browns without Braylon 1-1. Jets with Braylon 0-2

Cavs vs. Celtics one week from Tuesday. Basketball coverage, on my end at least, will begin in full this week.
