As George Thomas of the Akron-Beacon Journal writes here please wait and see with Delonte in regards to this domestic abuse issue that WOIO chose to report on. The police say there were no signs of abuse or injury on Delonte’s wife.
I lived in Cleveland long enough to know that WOIO is crap news anyway.
It’s hard to be a celebrity anywhere, but it’s particularly difficult when you’re a bi-polar celebrity living in Cleveland - where there aren’t any other celebrities, really, besides other pro athletes - and you just did something really troubling by being arrested for allegedly carrying around a grip of weapons in Maryland.
Heaping attention and bad vibes on Delonte isn’t going to help him, or the Cavs, at this point.
And I’m sticking with my prediction that D-West plays tomorrow night.
