I hope I don’t embarass Tim too much, but when he was a little kid, about 10 or so, he was a Tom Petty fan — I even took him to his first concert — Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
Anyway, I was reminded of that tonight because Petty had a popular song called “Free Fallin’” — maybe you’ve heard it. I’ve added the first line of the chorus to the title of this post — cause free fallin’ is a good description of the entire Cleveland Browns organization.
It starts with the owner all the way to the ball boy — well, maybe not the ball boy, but it’s bad. Both QBs have gotten worse under this coaching staff, the team has gotten worse under this coaching staff, they’ve fired Kokinis, Bernie is in the house, what’s next? Tim and Mike as co-GMs of the team — they’d proably do better than the current administration.
So, where do we go from here? Wherever it is, it will be without Jamal Lewis. It’s really a sad situation — with eight more games to play “Free Fallin’” baby — Look Out Below
