Hubie Brown: Myth Destroyer

There are many reasons I love Hubie Brown. Tonight, he addressed the myth that LeBron and Shaq would be unable to co-exist because “the paint would be too clogged,” which is a criticism non-Cavs fans have been spouting like Gospel since the Shaq trade went down.

Tonight, Mike Tirico asked him about this issue. Hubie’s response, verbatim:

“No no. C’mon. Everything depends upon your movement — when you pass the ball into the post, where your cutters are coming from, whether you have 3 point shooters who are a threat on the perimeter game. That’s a lot of baloney.”
