Tim and I were out last night, so we only saw bits and pieces of the game … it was difficult to push myself into social interaction instead of basketball watching, but I did it for the greater good … I fully intend to fully watch all 53 minutes at some point today (I am not ashamed of doing this), but I have this to say now —
There are few pleasures in life that equate with the communal experience of watching “Stunner Shades” Z (BJT68 knows why I’m using that nickname) hit back-to-back-to-back 3P in OT in order to completely crush the opponent … who did not score in 5 minutes of playing time.
The Cavs seem to have a penchant for holding teams scoreless for long periods of time (Bucks, Suns, and now Kings).
Try not to alienate your family tomorrow by ignoring them during the Lakers game. I promise to half try.
