Yeah, I know that Flacco is better than any QB on the Browns roster. I also realize that he’s one of the up and coming QB’s in the league. However, the information about him disclosed at the end of today’s game - was - well, disturbing. So disturbing to me that I don’t think he could survive as the QB in Cleveland — if the word got out.
I’m sure you heard it.
Joey still stays at his parents house in the off-season. He’s so cute that he still stays in the same bedroom he’s used since he was a little kid. That, in itself, puts him high on my “pathetic meter.”
However, the next piece of info was even more disturbing. Joey still has a poster on his bedroom wall of Tom Brady, the New England QB. That’s right, the very room he uses for most of the off season.
Oh, and by the way, he “has never met Tom”.
What?????
As M often says to me, “C’mon Man”.
Is it just me, or is that really — well, wacky? Why would a grown man have a poster of another grown man on his bedroom wall??? I can think of at least one reason, but…. I digress.
And, why hasn’t he ever met the guy? Throughout the game, the announcers talked about how many times they have played the Pats lately. So, why haven’t they met?
Well, I have a theory — maybe Brady heard the poster story and wants nothing to do with the “wacko”. Afterall, Brady is married to a model, right?
Who really knows, but the whole topic is rather bizarre, I’d say.
I wish I had turned the game off much earlier — if you know what I mean? Anyway, I guess I’ve said enough for now, except ….
Holla at Peyton Manning next weekend. Who knows what other posters the “wacko” has on his wall?
Dad
